*Overview:* We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.
In this role, you will provide essential clerical support and assist in handling personnel matters for multiple departments within our organization.
The ideal candidate should be a qualified typist with proficient computer skills and a strong knowledge of office procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Human Resources and Budget department in preparing reports and forms for submission.
* Support the Human Resources department in preparing hiring letters and maintaining personnel folders.
* Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
* Make copies of correspondence and other printed materials.
* Maintain both paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materials.
* Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems.
* Utilize computers for spreadsheet management, word processing, database management, and other applications (Microsoft Office).
* Assist in the preparation and assembly of briefs and presentations.
* Adhere to all corporate core values, policies, and procedures.
* Foster effective and professional relationships with co-workers.
* Design and produce reports as required to support departments.
* Perform all other assigned clerical and administrative duties.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or three (3) years of related experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
* Strong accounting knowledge, mathematics skills, and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to organize, schedule, and execute tasks effectively.
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
* Ability to sit for extended periods.
* Occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, squatting, kneeling, and pushing/pulling.
* Visual and auditory acuity.
* Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as needed.
* Comfortable with occasional exposure to noise, heat, and mechanical equipment.
* Capability to work alone or with others, depending on the task.
* Proficient reading and writing skills at a college level.
*Security Clearance:*
* This position requires a Trusted Agent Security Clearance.
* Must be a U.
