For sale - One (1) antique Chippendale style mahogany sideboard from the American 19th century.
Long rectangular plank sideboard top supporting an undulating serpentine low back panel.
Carved with scrolled leaves and a pendant flower border in relief.
The edges of the sideboard are topped with rounded corners and carved rounded edges.
The front of the sideboard centered on two burl wood fronted drawers flanked by two burl wood fronted doors opening to an interior shelf, flanked by two single door cupboards each fronted with quarter burl wood veneered panels.
The undulating apron is carved with scrollwork and leaves, all raised on short cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaf knees ending on ball and claw feet, mounted with brass drawer pulls and engraved door hinges.
Some wear to finish.
