The Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and restaurant.
This position is responsible for ensuring that pots, pans, flatware, serving utensils, and other items are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
The Steward must strictly adhere to sanitation policies, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and support a culture of excellence.
*General Requirements:*

* Maintain clean and organized workstations in alignment with the restaurant's philosophy and standards.
* Operate within the restaurant daily with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, and initiative.
* Understand and fully comply with all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training.
* Consistently demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to all restaurant policies.
* Wash and sanitize all kitchen and restaurant dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment thoroughly.
* Properly use and maintain equipment.
* Keep the kitchen area clean and orderly by disposing of trash and grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down counters during shifts and before leaving.
* Perform other duties as required, including but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining bathrooms, trash removal, cleaning the exterior of the building, and assisting with food preparation.
*Qualifications:*
* 1-2 years of kitchen restaurant experience or a willingness to learn.
* High standards of personal appearance and grooming.
* Team player with a commitment to supporting the business needs.
* Detail-oriented and thorough.
* Flexibility to accommodate the business's scheduling needs.
