Job Description: Line Cook Hapas Sushi and Poke is a business located in the Hukilau marketplace at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
We’ve been open for just over a year now.
This is not a mobile food truck, but a beautifully designed mini restaurant.
Are you tired of working in a hot kitchen? Our entire building is fully air conditioned and really cold.
We are seeking someone with a good attitude who is willing to learn and is a reliable hard worker.
Primarily you will be doing early morning prep and also learning simple sushi poke bowl preparation.
Experience is always preferred, but is not required.
So if you have a passion for food, are willing to learn, and able to work fast, we’d be happy to train you for the job.

Responsibilities of prep cook include but are not limited to: ● Preparing raw ingredients for use during service ● Consistent execution of recipes and a high standard for quality ● Understand and ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines are met and followed.
● Assist in cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment ● Able to take and follow directions ● Able to work in a tight fit kitchen ● Conducts themselves in a professional manner Qualifications: ● Previous experience in a fast paced restaurant is preferred but not required ● Must have basic knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures, kitchen equipment and food safety handling procedures ● Works and communicates well with other employees, works independently, follows directions, and keeps a positive attitude.
● Cleanliness is of the utmost importance ● MUST BE RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL.

00 - $20.
