Making Chocolate – from bean-to-bar following all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and SSOPs (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures):
-Operating a Roaster
-Operating a Winnower
-Operating aBall Mill
-Operating a Roller Refiner
-Operating aConche
-Operating a Temper machine (making chocolate bars)
*Cleaning:* Help maintain clean factory using SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures)
*Packing/Fulfillment:*
-Help organize and/or pack orders for delivery or shipping, with proper documentation
*Other Duties:*
-Help ensure monthly Production Schedules are achieved: Chocolate Making and Tempering, Packing
-Practice all Safety and Food Safety Protocols and Procedures, including updating and maintaining Food Safety Plan logs
-Ensures adherence and record keeps for SOP and SSOPs standards.
-Receive deliveries and maintain logs
-Assists with Producing Monthly Reports
Requires some heavy lifting – 25-50 lbs.
Some knowledge of food handling and food safety is preferred.
Cleanliness and being organized and detail-oriented is important.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.
