Barista and Cashier

``` Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning coffee machines, utensils, and equipment - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers - Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints Requirements: - Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling - Familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus - Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee brewing methods - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and preparation Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
