Duties: - Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage of food items in designated areas.
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Skills: - Experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a fine dinning restaurant.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent knife skills for food preparation.
- Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations and equipment.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
-Have at least 2 years experience cooking at a fine dinning restaurant.
-Must be able to stay calm in stressful situations.
-Must be passionate about cooking and all things food.
-Must be a perfectionist and very detail oriented.
-Must be easy to get along with.
-Must be RELIABLE!!! -Job wont be available until around March or April.
