Job Title: USSF/SSC Liaison to US Space Force Indo- Pacific (USINDO-PACOM) Job Location: Honolulu, HI 96853 Job Summary: This position serves as the Space Systems Command (SSC) liaison to U.
S.
Space Forces - Indo-Pacific (SPACEFOR-INDOPAC) in support of Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and SSC acquisition/development warfighter needs.
.
Member supports Warfighter Integration Office (INDOPACOM) with experience planning, organizing, directing Space Operations and DoD Acquisitions.
The candidate, in coordination with the Warfighter Integration Office (WIO) Lead, will provide and manage internal/external communications and functional/technical program requirement capture to meet current and emerging warfighter needs.
Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the effective application of processes in the execution and delivery of SSC projects and programs within the contract.
Contractor is responsible for the overall performance of this contract assigned and shall work within U.
S.
Space Forces - Indo-Pacific spaces and closely works with the USINDOPACOM and the warfighter in establishing technology and operations objectives for SSC systems.
Member must synchronize Unity of Effort between Space Systems Command and U.
S.
Space Forces – Indo-Pacific.
Member must develop strategic documentation to support WIO objectives within U.
S.
Space Forces – Indo-Pacific and CCMDs.
The contractor must Infuse space capabilities into ongoing wargames delivering direct feedback to emerging developmental programs to meet warfighter needs, and provide subject matter expertise on space integrated, multi-domain system of system capabilities, and facilitate transition of innovative capabilities to create strategic operational effects in support of the Combatant Commands’ mission and priorities.
The contractor shall provide recommendations on the overall Acquisition Strategy, to include tailoring of milestone requirements and documentation based on warfighter needs, inform technical and operational details for system deliverables, management artifacts and enforce standards for presentation of capability to U.
S.
Space Forces – Indo-Pacific and ultimately the CCMD.
Contractor must be able to inform systems development by understanding and advocating for warfighter technical requirements.
The contractor must also be able to assist WIO program manager with drafting, reviewing, updating, coordinating of various acquisition-related products/documents and support materials necessary for the life cycle management of the contract vehicle and advocate for Combatant Command requirements to enable the acceleration of technology and concepts that enable rapidly fielded solutions.
The contractor shall ensure program requirements and statements of work for SSC systems capture and are planned to the level of detail required for execution as well as subcontract formation and management.
Candidate must have Combatant Command experience.
This is the most desired attribute, with space expertise and experience being second.
Job Requirements: Skills / Experience Required • 5+ years of Combatant Command staff experience.
• 10 + years (Large Space Program Acquisition / Systems Engineering / Operations) • 5 of those 10+ years should be in Operations or Operations support positions • 10+ years of experience with National Security Space ground, space, and/or launch systems • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to brief technical audiences as well as budget and high level GO/FO audiences on mission impacts • Ability to effectively work as a member of larger dynamic teams • Must be willing to work inside USG facilities Education / Certifications • Master's degree preferred Astro/aeronautical mechanical systems engineering computer science Benefits Employer paid medical insurance Dental and vision insurance 401k PTO Tuition reimbursement Security Clearance Must be a U.

Citizen.
A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen.
The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
