Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Driver/Warehouse Associate and to join our team.
In this position, transport a variety of goods and materials from one location to another.
You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections.
You might also need to support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory.
The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Able to lift bulky and heavy boxes.
Responsibilities Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.
Perform routine safety inspections Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel Adhere to delivery schedules Comply with all company policies and driving laws Process incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashion Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for shipping.
Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errors.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications High school diploma/GED is preferred Experience as a Truck Driver is preferred Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred.
Ability to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects Ability to work with limited supervision.
Excellent organizational and time management skills Driver's license is required with clean driving record for the past 5 years.
Commercial driver’s license (CDL) NOT NEEDED
