Essential Duties
1\.
Operate a commercial vehicle, usually tractor-trailer unit.
2\.
Deliver and pick up customer shipments as assigned.
3\.
Communicate with customers and dispatch office regarding shipments.
4\.
Hook and unhook containers.
5\.
Conduct thorough pre-trip safety inspections on vehicle and all towed units.
6\.
Complete all paperwork, including dray tag, vehicle inspection reports, customer documents, and DOT required documents.
7\.
Think and work safely at all times to prevent work accidents, injuries, and property damage.
Comply with all Company safety rules including reporting unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, illnesses and injuries to supervisor or manager, and actively participate in identifying ways to make our Company a safer place to work.
Qualifications: Required (R) or Preferred (P)
•Minimum 2 years driving related business experience - steamship liner experience: (P)
•High school diploma or equivalent: (R)
•Class A State of Hawaii Commercial Driver’s License: (R)
•Hazardous Material Endorsement: (R)
•TWIC certification: (R)
•Forklift and electric pallet jack certified: (R)
•Fluency in English (oral and written): (R)
•Effective oral and written communication: (R)
•Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

•Excellent attendance and dependability
