About the role
This role is on the Engineering functional team.
They are responsible for performing preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance.
Applies several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
What you’ll do Follows all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Leads shift operations, assigns work orders, and/or provides technical and procedural training of coworkers and subcontractors.
Arranges for subcontractors as needed.
Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
Reviews assigned work orders.
Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
Maintains inventory of adequate supplies and tools and orders vital materials to finish the tasks.
Schedule proactive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
Implements a proactive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
Performs assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
Complete maintenance and repair records as needed.
Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

What you’ll need High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least five years of proven track record and experience in complete building operations.
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferred.
Universal CFC certification required.
Additional certification in one or more of the following: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Industrial and Manufacturing experience is requied.
