This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A, Endorsement N (Tank vehicles), and with NO RESTRICTIONS relating to Code E (manual transmission), Code I (Class C vehicle over 18,000 pounds), Code J (automatic or synchromesh transmission), Code L (air brakes), Code O (Class A tractor-trailer combination), and Code Z (full air brakes) at the time of application.

Duties Summary Train, supervise and participate in the operation of heavy earth moving equipment including graders and heavy tractors; evaluate subordinates and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements at the time of application: Experience: ONE (1) YEAR work experience which demonstrated knowledge of hazards and safety precautions applicable to operating graders and heavy tractors (e.
g.
, TD 20 and TD 25), maintenance needs of graders and heavy tractors; and ability to operate graders and heavy tractors skillfully and safely, recognize mechanical defects of graders and heavy tractors, and follow oral and written instructions.
Supervisory Aptitude: Applicants must demonstrate the possession of supervisory aptitude.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL): AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION, applicants must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A, Endorsement N (Tank vehicles), and with no restrictions relating to Code E (manual transmission), Code I (Class C vehicle over 18,000 pounds), Code J (automatic or synchromesh transmission), Code L (air brakes), Code O (Class A tractor-trailer combination), and Code Z (full air brakes).
NOTE: If a copy of your CDL is NOT submitted at the time of application, your application will be rejected.
A valid out-of-state CDL may also be accepted.
If you are selected for this position, you must transfer your out-of-state CDL to a Hawaii-issued CDL prior to your employment start date and within 30 days of arriving in Hawaii.
