Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations.
The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, culinary expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties: - Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards - Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistent quality - Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary - Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns - Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and specials - Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures - Handle customer inquiries or complaints related to the kitchen Qualifications: - Previous experience in a leadership role in the food industry, preferably as a Kitchen Manager or Chef - Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training kitchen staff - Knowledge of cash handling procedures - Familiarity with coffee preparation methods is a plus - Hospitality or hotel industry experience is preferred - Bartending experience is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
