We are looking for a Wine Bar Managers to Help Manager operations and oversee our dining and wine bar The responsibilities of Manager include supervising wine serving, providing wine recommendations to guests, managing staff, oversight of dining operations, oversight of bar operations, checking in with guests, auditing of SOPs, closing procedures and closing out daily tills/deposits
To be successful as a sommelier, you should demonstrate a friendly personality, strong knowledge of food and wine pairings, and good interpersonal skills.
Ultimately, a top-notch sommelier should have an understanding of the wine making process, ability to create exquisite food and wine pairings.
Manager Responsibilities:
* Making recommendations on food and wine pairings.
* Informing guests on the variety of wines available.
* Training wait staff on available wines.
* Fill in on the bar if needed
* Helping expo when needed
* Oversight of floor staff
* Managing staff breaks during operational hours
* Addressing guest concerns
* Closing of Register cash drawers and deposits
* Complying with health and safety regulations.
* Sommelier Requirements:
* *Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality is beneficial.

* *Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or in a hospitality role.
*
* Extensive knowledge on wines and regions of the different types.
* Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries.
* An understanding of the wine making process.
