Assistant Store Manager

Do you have an innate ability to connect with customers and make sales? How about a good sense of style or design? You may be a great fit for the Bali Boo store! We are located in the Kapa’a Industrial area in Kailua and serve all of Oahu.
We specialize in furniture and décor from Bali and work with The Koa Room to provide locally crafted wood items too.
As the assistant store manager, duties include: * Customer interactions from sales to scheduling deliveries when needed.
* Team building and cohesiveness.
* Stock levels – products come directly from Bali and will often need: * Cleaning * Scheduling repairs from shipping like cracks, furniture assembly, or hardware installation * Pest control to preserve furniture and stop beetle damage or spread * Proper identification and labeling of products when they are unloaded * Furniture and décor placement to assist the store manager with visual appeal * Inventory management and yearly audit.
* Coordination with The Koa Room to showcase some of their products.
* Help the store manager to manage advertising for the store through social media (Instagram and Facebook), email sales (Mail Chimp), and TV commercials.
* Store upkeep and cleaning.
We’re looking for someone that is/has: * Able to work BOTH Saturday and Sunday each week * Customer professionalism and rapport building.
* Hard worker with a positive attitude * Computer skills, such as Microsoft Word/Excel, social media, and email * Employee management Salary is commensurate with experience.
