) that occur at the parent level on behalf of the US firms.
Position Summary The DLLP Accounting & Reporting Manager within Deloitte's Controllership function supports the U.
S.
Controllership team across a range of accounting topics and issues.
The Manager will oversee a team that supports the payroll department and payroll accounting related processes.
In addition, the Manager will work closely with Controllership, Payroll, Talent, Financial Reporting, Global Finance Services (GFS) and other groups across finance to ensure timely, accurate, complete, and insightful financial information.
Recruiting for this role ends on 02/28/2024 What You'll Do: Drive period, quarter, and year-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with appropriate policy and accuracy of financial information within established deadlines.
Effectively collaborate within team and Payroll, GFS, Financial Reporting, Controllership and other groups to ensure accurate and timely delivery of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial report reviews.
Oversee the accounting for various payroll process such as payroll taxes, employee benefits, employee notes & loans, escheatable property, etc.
Ensure Controllership senior management is aware of status of close activities, any major risks or issues identified, and the accompanying recommended actions.
Partner with Finance leadership, Internal Audit, and Internal Controls to develop and execute a standardized and robust reconciliation process.
Support the implementation and execution of key controls and processes as applicable.
Support on-going transformation efforts to optimize accounting activities performed, which requires significant collaboration with the Finance Transformation team.
Identify and execute on process improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, increase digitization, and enhance value created and delivered by Controllership organization.
Monitor quality standards for Controllership deliverables/reports owned by the team and ensure junior members of the team meet or exceed them.
Facilitate training and support development and well-being of staff.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline 5+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting, payroll accounting and finance.
Prior experience supervisory/management of people and processes.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ability to research complex accounting issues.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel including v-lookups, pivot tables, and macros and Microsoft Access.
Preferred Requirements: Prior experience in payroll accounting.
Blackline and SAP experience.
CPA The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84300 to $155400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
