Job Title: Transportation Supervisor
Location: Mapunapuna (Oahu)
Schedule: Full Time – must be flexible to work weekends.
Compensation: Based on experience with benefits
Summary: As our Transportation Supervisor you will help direct and coordinate activities of the Transportation Department alongside the Logistics Manager.
Essential Duties:
Works with Logistics Manager to coordinate the delivery, transport, and pick up of donated/redemption goods through a fleet of vehicles.
Ensures optimum delivery, transport, and pick up of Goodwill goods.
Procures state required certificates of title and arranges for registrations and state inspections.
Inspects vehicles and other equipment; schedules repair or service work of equipment, as needed.
Coordinates operation and maintenance of equipment, storage facilities, and repair facilities.
Directs recording of expenses and analyzes purchase and repair costs to control expenditures.
Plans, directs and maintains safety campaigns.
Negotiates with vendors to purchase equipment, materials, and supplies.
Assigns trucks for business use and creates truck routes for drivers.
Conducts work in a safe and responsible manner, utilizing personal protective equipment (i.
e.
gloves, support belt) and/or equipment (i.
e.
hand truck, dolly) when appropriate.
Complies with all safety standards.
Responsible for awareness of and adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and
Two years supervisory experience and/or training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training
Must have a valid driver’s license (Type 4)
Must have a clean traffic abstract
Pass a PUC Physical and functional capacity exam
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must retain HDL and PUC card on their person at all times
