Violent and abusive behavior is learned and can be unlearned.

The consistent use of non-violent skills assures safety for survivors and children, promotes offender accountability, and solidifies an end to the cycle of violence in families and communities.
Family Peace Centers emphasize partnership, equality and respect among and between all family members.
The Program Supervisor oversees the day-to-day management of assigned FPC services and provides supervision of staff, interns, and volunteers.
The Program Supervisor also provides direct services to clients’ domestic violence and sex trafficking victim/survivors, offenders, and child sex abuse victims.
This position communicates frequently with funders, Probation Officers, staff members, community partners and other supervisors.
This position is under the direct supervision of the Program Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Behave in a manner that supports the agency's mission and follows personnel policies and procedures.
Manage program unit operations, assuring contract compliance and fiscal accountability in meeting requirements.
Oversee all record keeping, data input, reporting on clients, and drafts program reports as needed.
Confer with and makes recommendations to the Program Director regarding the implementation of general changes to the unit's policies, procedures, or programmatic activities.
Provide leadership for program staff and assumes all the responsibilities of a supervisor for the staff reporting directly to this position.
Develop and conduct orientation and training for staff, volunteers, and interns; coordinate and leads supervision and team meetings.
Work with community members, clients, and collaterals to address program issues and provide education on intimate partner and interpersonal violence.
Work directly with clients.
Conduct and complete intake, assessments, safety checks, advocacy, crisis calls, group facilitation, individual counseling, and other direct clinical services with clients.
Respects the individuality and ensures the confidentiality of persons served.
Minimum Qualifications: Education / Training / Experience: 1.
Master’s degree (preferred) in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
2.
Two (2) years’ experience and training working with families who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, substance abuse, or related field.
3.
One (1) year personnel supervision, required.
Other: Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license and daily access to an automobile.
Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance.
Can obtain an acceptable criminal background check upon hire, one year later, and annually thereafter.
Can obtain an acceptable CWS background check.
