WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FACILITIES MANAGER
To be successful as an Facilities Manager at Palolo Chinese Home, you must possess a range of skills and qualifications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively communicating with residents, staff, and contractors.
Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel, will enable you to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
A valid driver's license is required for conducting site visits and overseeing external services.
You should have a strong understanding of the legalities and regulations pertaining to occupational and environmental health, safety, and sanitation.
Demonstrating autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation will be crucial in fulfilling your job responsibilities.
Basic English reading and writing skills are necessary for clear communication.
Additionally, a minimum of 3 years in commercial building/plant maintenance, along with journeyman-level qualifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry trades, or equivalent knowledge and experience, is necessary.
