Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000/yr
Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager at our Ualena St.
location in Oahu will ensure all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably.
This role is crucial in managing staff, production levels, supplies, and the flow of shipments, while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Management of shipping container flow throughout our warehouses, inbound and outbound.
Regularly walk the yard and warehouse to monitor daily activities and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may affect productivity.
Implement and enforce proper inventory control measures, space management.
Manage production of crates, special crating, lift vans, crating operations, and all supplies.
Ensure proper functioning of all warehouse equipment.
Regular inventory counts and manages supplies, establishing reorder triggers.
Oversee the daily workflow, schedule, and organization of warehouse staff across all shifts.
Hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations of warehouse employees.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Manage discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and handle all required management reports and execute maintenance activities as needed.
Research and implement new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
Attend and participate in scheduled and impromptu meetings.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
Waste Management
Lead the team to meet or exceed production targets.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures, including safety policies.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Warehouse experience preferred, with supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
