The incredibly beautiful and ultra luxury Ka La'i Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts newest addition is seeking a Condo Accounting Manager to join their Accounting Team.
Ka La'i Waikīkī Beach spans 38 stories and features impeccable residential-style guest rooms and suites; a state-of-the-art wellness facility; a 24-hour fitness center; an infinity pool with an expansive sun deck; five indoor and outdoor venues and event spaces; two signature restaurants offering contemporary cuisine in addition to in-room dining and in-suite chef services.
In this role, you will be responsible for all duties and oversight of accounting for the unit owners of the condo/hotel, including the rental program which includes tasks such as providing accurate and timely billings, statements, reports, tax filings, year-end filings, project tracking and ad-hoc report analysis.
The ideal candidate will have One (1) to two (2) years prior accounting experience required, preferably in hospitality/condo field.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel; experience in Accounts Receivable software preferred.
Want to learn more? , , What will I be doing? As the Condo Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Reconcile daily rooms revenue to the A/R condo management.
Post charges to accounts as needed.
Ensure that all charges are entered, and billing is accurate and goes out with all supporting documentation before the monthly deadline.
Post and charge all third party and residential unit owner expenses according to deadline.
Prepare residential billings to the HOA according to deadline.
Review all new owner paperwork for accuracy.
Maintain and update unit owner databases.
Monitor leaseback units and advise on upcoming expirations.
Respond to general tax inquiries and prepare general excise and transient accommodation tax returns.
Distribute unit owner's income and statement according to deadlines.
Maintain a reconciliation of unit owner distributions separate from Opera.
Prepare and distribute the condo revenue reports and room plan reports to appropriate personnel in a timely fashion.
Prepare month end schedules for the Assistant Controller according to deadline.
Prepare year-end tax information returns for unit owners.
Handle all customer and owner inquiries in a timely, efficient manner.
Handle correspondence and communication to customers, corporate office, as well as our unit owners regarding billing matters.
Approach all encounters with unit owners, guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Keep supervisor informed of events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Attendance of all mandatory training sessions and meetings is required.
Adherence to all policies, standards, and regulations established by the Hotel, including but not limited to service, health and safety, etc.
Must be able to work flexible and varied schedules, including weekends, overnights and holidays, as determined by operational needs.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Hotel standards.
