Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Utilization Manager at Hickam Air Force Base near Honolulu, HI.
The Utilization Manager will be responsible for coordination of care for active-military members and their families/dependents.

Position Highlights:
Monday-Friday position - no required overtime
Hours: 8 hour shifts between 0730-1630 (7:30AM - 4:30PM) 1HOUR Lunch
Competitive compensation with an estimated annual income of $84,864.

Position Requirements:
ASSOCIATES DEGREE WITH 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE or BACHELORS DEGREE AND 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
HI NURSING LICENSE
Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Office programs, MS Outlook (e-mail), and HIPPA guidelines
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C) or the American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course
Position Responsibilities:
Knowledge and skills to effectively apply the following core Utilization Management functions:
Assessment - ID patients for Utilization Management; comprehensive collection of patient information and medical status; and continue evaluation of an established plan of care
Planning - Collaboration with the patient, family/caregiver, primary provider and other members of the health care team for developing an effective plan of care
Facilitation - Care coordination and communication among all involved parties
Advocacy - Support for the patient and family/caregivers to ensure identified education and appropriate, timely care is received
