With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu.
The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center.
Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Supply Chain Management team is dedicated to overseeing the purchase of equipment, merchandise and supplies within the organization’s guidelines for cost, quality and accurate delivery.
Staff may receive, stock and transport a variety of items to and from off-site locations, handle messenger pickups and deliveries outside the facilities, maintain stockroom inventories, route incoming goods to proper departments and research or negotiate products according to quality, price and value standards.
As the Materials Management Manager, you will provide key oversight to ensure that our Supply Chain Management department delivers accurate and efficient supplies throughout Pali Momi.
You will be an on-site resource, providing strategic direction and leadership for the management of all non-labor supplies and services.
This includes managing all site-specific supply chain operations involved in the ordering, receiving, distribution, storage, inventory and equipment management, replenishment of supplies (except dietary and pharmaceutical products) and sterile processing needed to provide quality patient care for the hospital.
We are looking for someone organized and systematic, with strong managerial and communication skills, an appreciation for operational integrity and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
