NCTAMS PAC provides comprehensive, around-the-clock telecommunications support to strategic and tactical war-fighters throughout the U.
S.
Indo-Pacific Command Area of Responsibility and beyond.
This position manages the operation and maintenance of 4 Operations Centers: • Wahiawa, Hawaii Satellite Communications (SATCOM) is the backbone of the U.
S.
military’s communication, offering the war-fighter a point of entrance into the DoDIN and legacy tactical C4I services with reliable high-throughput telecommunications utilizing various RF spectrum bands • Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) is the Defense Department’s next-generation narrowband military satellite communications system.
It will support a worldwide, multiservice population of UHF band users, providing increased communications capabilities to smaller terminals while still supporting interoperability with legacy terminals.
MUOS is designed to support users that require mobility, high data rates and improved operational availability • Kaneohe, Hawaii Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM), provides rapid, reliable, secure communications support for forces deployed overseas and at home ports within the U.
S.
• Naval Radio Transmitting Facility (NRTF), Lualualei provides operational Command and Control communications utilizing the Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Low Frequency (LF) radio spectrums.
Responsibilities: Major Job Activities: • The On-Site PM will be the central point of contact with the Government for the performance of all work under this contract.
• Position is subject to approval by the Government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
• Implement sound management principles critical to advising Government personnel.
• Ensures the balance of work-load to an integrated support team managing the daily (24x7x365) care and operations of equipment and personnel located in multiple geographically separated locations Working Environment: Flexible 8x5 (Monday-Friday) (24x7 on-call) work schedule 24-hour X 7 support.
Physical Activities: Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs a distance of 50 feet horizontally and 35 lbs vertically a distance of 50 feet without resting.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree Qualified under the Navy Preventive Maintenance Program and Personnel Qualifications System (3M PQS) to the Department Head level (307) – or able to gain qualification within 6 months of employment Cyber Security Work Force Code 80 position which requires compliance with Cyber Security Work Force Requirements and DoD Directive 8140.

Active TS/SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information).
Preferred: • PMP Certification Experience / Skills: • The ideal candidate must have a broad knowledge of SATOM/Global Teleport site and systems to include operations and maintenance functions.
• Possess domain expertise in Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and network system operations, help desk coordination, expeditionary military network operations, Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, facilities and cyber security, and project management.
• Must possess relevant experience with a comparable level of responsibility managing SATCOM/Global Teleport site maintainers and operators (approximately 70 employees) in a project of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Must be capable of interpreting technical data, using a variety of methods and approaches to performing the work in this contract.
