JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Under the general supervision of the Supervisor and/or Medical Technologist I: * o Performs laboratory technologies and procedures.
o Performs and reports test results that may require conclusion, evaluation or value judgment.
o Performs related quality control and clerical functions; problem solving and informal orientation and/or technical instruction.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Required: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
Continuous: * Frequent: sitting, standing, walking, carrying usual weight of 10 up to maximum of 50 pounds.
* Occasional: stooping/ bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, crawling, walking on uneven ground, squatting, lifting weight of 10 pounds up to maximum of 50 pounds; pushing/pulling weight of 10 pounds up to maximum 20 pounds of force; reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, twisting body, reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: * Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
* Subjected to noise/vibration from equipment noise.
* Exposure to body fluids, communicable diseases, HIV positive specimens.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: * Current Hawaii State licensure as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Specialist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
B.
EXPERIENCE: * One (1) year experience as a Medical Technologist preferred.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,230.
00 - $79,254.
