Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital.
It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children.
With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility.
Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani.
The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
The Wilcox Unit at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a pediatric unit dedicated to providing family centered, comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children with cancer and blood disorders and general pediatric medical surgical care of adolescents and other aged pediatric patients.
Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, which enables our children to receive the most current treatment by participating in the National Cancer Center Institute, approved clinical trials.

You would provide nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in the Wilcox Unit.
You would also function as an associate to a charge nurse, and eventually assume charge nurse responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License.
One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Current Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) CPR cards.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
EPIC proficient.
Completion of a national Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider course.
Certified pediatric hematology and oncology nurse.
