_*CNA Responsibilities:*_
* _Providing great patient care.
_
* _Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them.
_
* _Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
_
* _Turning and repositioning bedridden patients.
_
* _Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
_
* _Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
_
* _Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
_
* _Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
_
* _Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
_
* _Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
_
* _Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
_
* _Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
_
_*CNA Requirements:*_
* _State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
_
* _Current CPR (American Heart Association).
_
* _Nursing degree from a CNA program.
_
* _Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
_
* _Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
_
* _High School graduate or equivalent.
_
* _Current identification.
_
* _Comfortable using a computer.
_
* _Excellent personal hygiene_.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $25.
00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
Standard shift:
* Day shift
Weekly schedule:
* 5x8
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
