I need help in my tranquil Kailua home with light cooking, housecleaning, running errands and paperwork.
Some lifting (I weigh 170).
You must be at least 5'3" to reach around me for lifting.
Pay starts at $20/hr, time-and-a-half on holidays.
Full HMSA health and dental insurance after 4 20-hr weeks.
I provide paid training for three days or until you are comfortable.
I am currently looking for one day per week 7am-7pm (Tuesday OR Thursday), every other Friday 7pm-11pm, plus backup day shift 7a-7p and backup evenings 7p-11p.
We have a good community here and most of my staff have been here five years or more.
I’m retired from writing computer games, and participate in local politics.
No experience or health license needed, but the job includes bathing & other personal care.

I ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months.
You must be very reliable, punctual, and have stable transportation.
Drivers license preferred.
My staff may trade shifts, within reason, to accommodate vacations and special occasions.
Additional shifts will open in the future.
I pay by check and withhold Social Security.
I withhold taxes if you like.
