Located upstairs at Waikiki Market, our new restaurant will celebrate Hawaii’s food culture through authentic, modern interpretations of “mixed-plate” flavors in a beautiful space overlooking Waikiki.
We are looking for *Prep Cooks* to join our brand new 'Olili Waikiki team!
The prep cook position is a member whose focus is consistent execution of standardized recipes for the establishment’s daily needs.
Prep cooks will work with raw ingredients to create prep for the menu.
The prep cook is also expected to be able to handle utility duties as well, and the focus is to handle the orders that are received.
This person must have adequate knife skills.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
* Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
* Ensure that all items are to spec, dated appropriately, packed, sealed, and labeled correctly.
* Follow daily checklists and maintain responsibilities regularly.
* Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
*Qualifications:*
* High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have knowledge of cooking techniques & procedures, kitchen equipment, and kitchen operational systems.
* Must have the ability to work and communicate well with others, work both independently and in a team, follow directions, as well as maintain a positive attitude toward the work and company.
* Must maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observe company dress code, and support the company culture, values, goals and mission.
* Must possess a recent TB Clearance.
