In partnership with the Hospital Manager, Medical Director and leadership team, the Credentialed Technician Manager will manage and mentor staff, oversee hospital processes and business operations all while ensuring exceptional patient care.
Our eleven doctor practice has forever been a General Practice hospital until we made a change halfway through 2022 where we implemented walk-in/ emergency services seven days a week now identifying us as a hybrid hospital.

VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced (5 years minimum) Credentialed Technician Manager to join our team! This is at a full-time capacity.
For this role, we are specifically looking for our ideal candidate to fill a five (5) day, eight (8) hour schedule per day (Tuesday – Saturday schedule); Weekend rotations could be considered.
Closing (730p) and weekend availability is a requirement.
This position pays $64,480 - $83,200 / year based on experience and skill set.
Relocation Assistance up to $5000 available.

Credentialed Technician Manager Responsibilities: Actively assesses employee engagement and satisfaction.
Regularly provides employees with opportunities for feedback, personal development and career growth.
Collaborates with the Hospital Management team on employee satisfaction initiatives.
Works collaboratively with Hospital Manager, and Medical Leadership on the development, assessment and scheduling of the technician and technician assistant team.
Provides feedback regarding improvement and changes in workflow, processes and services.
Manages Technician Supervisors, Technicians, Veterinary Assistants and Technician Assistants in General Practice and Urgent Care cases.
Assesses staffing needs and ensures that staff are providing the highest quality of medical care while effectively and efficiently meeting hospital and AAHA standards.
Develops written, standardized protocols for departments and patient care that provides uniform decision making in handling and caring for patients.
Develops detailed training manuals to onboard new staff.
Has the authority to direct and support associates daily work activities.
Has the direct responsibility in hiring, termination, corrective action and performance reviews.
Supervise the administration and case review of client service and medical complaints.
Positively represent the hospital and VCA in the professional community and to the general public Necessary Attributes: Associate's degree required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current CVT or ability to transfer license to Hawaii.
5 years related work experience in veterinary medicine required and 3-5 years supervisory/management experience required.
Demonstrates a strong desire for process improvement and leadership development.
