SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Administers NSS policies and procedures to control and coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, and physical inventory of assets.
Monitors asset lifecycle, inventory, locations, maintenance status, photographing equipment for identification and record generation.
Establishes and maintains comprehensive records of each asset.
Coordinates processes and documentation required for new asset acquisition, disposal, replacement and tracking of lost assets.
Works with vendors and other departments to maintain accurate and complete asset data.
Interface with Government property administrator and plant clearance officer.
Process Government property closeout and transfers

Level of Interaction: Interacts with Engineers, Test Leads/Technicians, Program Manager/Project Leads, Government Administrators, on-site calibration technicians, Calibration/Maintenance vendors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
Computer skills are a plus (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.
)
Strong interpersonal skills; a team player and independent worker.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be strong at solving problems.
Good time management
An eagerness to learn.
Detail-oriented.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision or with teams.
Education: HS Diploma/GED
Experience: No experience necessary.
Training will be provided
Physical and/or Medical Demands: Required-lifting up to 30 lbs equipment.
Some power supplies are over 50+ lbs and will require team lift.
