*SCHEDULE* Regular Full-Time Position (Day) Must be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30pm.
Must be flexible with schedule changes to meet operational needs.
*HIRING RANGE* $19.
00 to $22.
96 hourly Actual pay commensurate with experience *JOB SUMMARY* Provides administrative support for technical areas of the company, this includes but is not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing memos, reports, and presentations.
Maintains various systems, such as EP Evaluator, QC On-Call, and Test Information Library (TIL).
Serves as a document administrator for the document management system.
Performs special project work as assigned.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* * Listed below are the major duties and responsibilities of this position in order of importance.
Essential job functions are identified with an \*.
* Prepares, maintains and manages records, documents, and files as assigned.
Gathers, assembles, and refines data as needed to complete memos, reports, presentations, etc.
including but not limited to: (25-65%) \* * Files for various committees, departmental projects, and departmental functions.
* Forms, presentations, and reports such as EP Evaluator reports, QC On-Call reports, proficiency testing and instrument correlations.
* Revisions to Test Information Library (TIL) in the lab information systems.
* Offsite document storage.
* Departmental monitors.
* Imaging system.
* Coordinates, facilitates and/or manages special projects as assigned.
(5-45%) \* * Serves as a document administrator for the technical departments.
(0-25%) \* * Coordinates meetings as requested.
(5-20%) \* * Schedules appropriate meeting dates/times to accommodate participants.
* Arranges for logistical requirements such as meeting rooms and audio-visual equipment.
* Prepares meeting agenda and appropriate backup materials.
* Distributes meeting materials to appropriate inidividuals in the required timeframe.
* Records, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings, and maintains accurate files as needed.
* Functions as a super-user of applicable software programs and provides training as needed.
(0-15%) * Monitors and disseminates test information changes to users.
(0-10%) * Participates in the development of departmental plans and policies, conducting research as needed.
(0-10%) * Coordinates and schedules pipet calibrations.
(0-5%) * Performs other duties as required.

*JOB DEMANDS* _Communication Demands:_ * _Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
_ * _Able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
_ * _Able to effectively communicate information to internal and external customers in informal settings such as one-on-one and small group situations.
_ _Typical Physical Demands:_ * _Sedentary to light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities.
_ * _Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
_ * _Requires sitting for periods up to four (4) hours on a continual basis.
_ * _Requires keying intermittently for up to six (6) hours a day.
_ * _Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
_ * _May require occasional ground travel.
_ _Typical Working Conditions:_ * _Work environment includes conditions common to a hospital/laboratory environment, including working around or indirectly with biohazardous materials, potentially hazardous chemicals and /or patients with communicable diseases.
_ * _Generally works in an indoor, well-lighted, air-conditioned area.
_ *QUALIFICATIONS* *Education: * Required: * High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: * Two (2) years in business school.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
*Experience:* Required: * Two (2) years of work experience in an office setting, performing administrative duties.
* One (1) year of working with customers; exhibiting a high level of professionalism and working to establish a positive rapport.
Preferred: * Laboratory experience.
* Facilitator and/or Project Manager experience.
*Skills:* Required: * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written form.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Typing/Keying: 95% accuracy at thirty (30) words per minutes.
* Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and routine database activity.
(Ex: email, creating letters, formatting data, using tables, inserting objects.
