*SCHEDULE* Regular Full-Time Position Must be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with rotating weekends & holidays as needed.

96 hourly Actual pay commensurate with experience *JOB SUMMARY* Provides administrative support which includes scheduling meetings, coordinating employee events, preparing and distributing documents and reports, tracking contracts and agreements.
Assists with Reference laboratory invoices and billing accuracy.
Assists with Test Information Library (TIL) maintenance and acts as a liaison for laboratory support and test code management/development.
Handles standing laboratory orders in the laboratory information system (LIS).
Maintains department supply inventory.
Performs special projects as assigned.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* * Listed below are the major duties and responsibilities of this position in order of importance.

* Provides administrative support to employees and the management team including: (50%)\* * Schedules meetings, including arranging conference rooms, preparing materials, and documenting meeting minutes.
Follows up on action items and ensure timely completion of tasks discussed in meetings.
* Prepares reports for the department, external clients and internal customers.
* Handles supplies, equipment, electronic systems, and facility requests.
* Maintains schedules in time and attendance system.
* Coordinates travel arrangements and accommodations for management staff and employees when necessary.
* Reviews, audits and reconciles reference laboratory billing statements.
* Tracks employee compliance to department policies and safety requirements.
* Creates computer based tests (CBTs) and/or other materials for employee learning/competency.
* Acts as a department Safety liaison.
* Plans and executes various events, including, team-building activities, celebrations, workshops, and social gatherings.
* Updates standard operating procedures (SOP) in the document management system.
* Builds and maintains test codes for the Test Information Library (TIL).
(30%)\* * Works with DLS IT and Reference Laboratory IT teams to validate test specifications.
* Performs user testing as needed for validation and implementation as directed.
* Enters and edits Standing Orders into Laboratory Information System (LIS).
(20% )\* * Works with Marketing and/or client for accurate and complete information.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

_ * _Able to lift, carry, push or pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds occasionally.
_ _Typical Working Conditions:_ * _Work environment includes conditions common to a hospital/laboratory environment, including working directly with potentially hazardous chemicals and/or patients with communicable diseases.
_ * _Generally works in an indoor, air-conditioned area.
_ *QUALIFICATIONS* *Education: * Required: * High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
*Experience:* Required: * Two (2) years of work experience in an office setting, performing administrative duties.
* One (1) year of working with customers; exhibiting a high level of professionalism and working to establish a positive rapport.
Preferred: * Clinical laboratory experience.
* Facilitator and/or Project Manager experience.
*Skills:* Required: * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written form.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Exhibit effective decision making with good judgement.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
