Duties and Responsibilities: Candidate shall prepare intelligence reports and assessments in support of mission for the supported Command’s mission planning and force protection efforts.
Candidate shall identify asymmetric threats and vulnerabilities to U.
S.
interests in the area of responsibility (AOR) and assess and monitor the internal security situation in the AOR as it pertains to force protection Candidate shall write threat and vulnerability assessments, force protection threat assessments, and special force protection and terrorism reports Candidate shall prepare intelligence reports and recommend courses of actions to the Government Candidate shall incorporate all-source information to produce time-sensitive intelligence reports and finished intelligence products Candidate shall write counterintelligence (CI) investigations technical analysis, white papers, analytical information reports, conduct presentations and historical trend analysis Candidate shall prepare intelligence after action reports (AARs) in support of efforts aimed at developing a comprehensive intelligence training program to include instruction, exercises, and self-paced computer-based training (CBT) Candidate shall development and deliver specialized classes to train individuals, small teams, and units (to include those of partner nations) in the intelligence disciplines required to counter emerging threats.
Topics for training may consist of virtually any intelligence-related task to include all-source analysis, link analysis, and pattern analysis to identify key vulnerabilities, including adversary capabilities, to mitigate identified CI, counterterrorism (CT), and Force Protection (FP) threats Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or Graduation from a military command and staff college At least 10 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), including at least five (5) years of experience in military operations At least three (3) years of experience working in military plans At least three (3) years of experience in a senior military staff office (Service HQ, Combatant Command, OSD, JS) Knowledge of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region Experience conducting research on a range of topics and functional areas Experience in operational and/or strategic levels of DoD planning and/or execution Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient at authoring analytical and/or policy documents Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must have an active Secret security clearance, and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility later during employment.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, or Graduation from a military command and staff college 10 or more years of experience in military plans Five (5) years' experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Detailed knowledge of USINDOPACOM policy and strategy and a thorough understanding of USINDOPACOM TCP/TCO, GCPs, CT EXORD, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and Theater Security Cooperation Plans including linkages to parallel national interests In-depth knowledge of U.
