The Charge Systems Services team of financial professionals helps to develop, maintain and report on the Charge Description Master (CDM) and establish accurate charges to support ancillary, hospital and physician services.
The department ensures data integrity between the CDM, hospital charge sheets and ancillary systems; researches coding and revenue reporting requirements and monitors Hawai‘i Pacific Health pricing policies to maximize reimbursement within budget guidelines and comply with the appropriate regulations.
If you have a talent for working with numbers and outstanding analytical skills, you could support the Revenue Management department at Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics as the Charge Systems Analyst.
You will provide project support, information and documentation for the Charge Description Master (CDM) and other master file processes, as well as establish accurate charges to support ancillary, hospital and physician services, develop charge structures that are compliant with existing laws and regulations and optimize reimbursement.
The position is an essential part of the administrative team, and contributes to the oversight of major aspects of administrative and revenue management.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Three (3) years general business operations experience, including workflow process management, project management and information systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)/ Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) Coding methodology and hospital/physician billing systems such as IDX, SMS or EPIC.
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and HMSA coding and billing rules.
