Innova Recovery Center provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis.
This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis and are provided in the office or via telehealth.
Services are provided with empirically proven approaches and are delivered through timely, intensive and goal specific interventions according to the needs of the client.
This is a 1099 Contract position at Part-Time status.
Must have licensure in the State of Hawaii.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload of clients and participates in leading groups at the facility.
Design treatment plans, evaluate the results for the client and make changes to the plan as needed, oversee client’s trajectory at multiple levels of care and provide weekly clinical reports for insurance review.
Oversees clinical interventions, participates in consultation and feedback with Lead Clinical Therapist.
Clinical Therapist will ensure proper documentation of clinical interventions are compliant with joint commission standards.
Responsible for having knowledge of and compliance with policies and procedures of the center and provides as needed intervention/support to ensure compliance.
The Clinical Therapist may be asked to assist in the revision and implementation of these policies as needed to promote therapeutic success of clients and safety of the facility.
The Clinical Therapist will be asked to participate in clinical meetings weekly, and may be asked to provide training/education to direct care staff regarding topics such as mandated reporting, boundary maintenance, redirection, crisis intervention, etc.
The Clinical Therapist will provide clinical documentation for weekly utilization reviews.
Participates in weekly consultation, coaching and training with Lead Clinical Therapist.
Ensures timely and accurate clinical intervention and documentation for caseload.
Participates in coordinating coverage for clinical groups and services.
Coordinates with several branches of care to ensure effective care for clients.
Works closely with the Regional Director of Clinical Services and Lead Clinical Therapist to provide daily programming required at the center.
Consults with the Regional Director of Clinical Services in situations in which additional supervision, direction, information is needed.
Participates in mandatory weekly staff meetings presenting client cases for review.
Maintains professional and solution focused demeanor.
Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the state.
Prepared to support and assist in crisis intervention or other situations when deemed appropriate.
Provides on-call support on assigned weeks during the month.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master’s degree or higher as a Licensed Professional Counselor or master’s in social work
Licensure and Certifications to provide mental health care in the State of Hawaii
