YOUR ROLE AS A KITCHEN UTILITY WORKER As a Full-Time Kitchen Utility Worker at Palolo Chinese Home, HI, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities that are crucial to the smooth operation of our kitchen.
You will diligently clean equipment and surfaces, ensuring that they meet our department procedures and schedules.
You will also transport supplies to different areas of the department and facility, assisting with unpacking and storing deliveries when needed.
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation is a top priority for this role.
You will remove trash and garbage, clean trash containers, and operate the dish machine to wash dishes at the correct temperature and according to other requirements.
Additionally, you will operate, clean, and maintain the floor scrubber and buffer, as well as sweep and mop the kitchen and dining room floors.
Monitoring and recording dish machine temperatures are essential to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Your commitment to following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety policies will help maintain a safe, sanitary work environment.
You will also be responsible for returning all kitchen tools, keys, and equipment to their designated areas.
Your attention to detail and adherence to proper use of food service equipment is essential for the success of our kitchen operations.
