Based in Honolulu, your new role as a Station Engineer will see you perform all aspects of scheduled maintenance on the Qantas Group fleet as well as client airlines.
Alongside this, you will be required to run inventory and conduct audits to ensure a smooth operation across the Honolulu station.
This is a trainee role in which you will be required to undertake a substantial amount of training to obtain the required Australian qualifications.
Candidates will be required to travel to mainland USA and Australia for training.
Training periods will be up to 3+ months at a time.
You’ll have: Minimum requirement is an active A& P license with a minimum of five years line station experience Experience working on either B787 or A330 aircraft is highly regarded Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles Proven problem-solving skills, particularly when under pressure Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within Qantas and other customers Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures Commitment to being a customer focused-team worker, with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
