Our Agency is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA /Nursing Assistant to join our team of Home Care Professionals.
As a CNA / NA, your primary focus will be to provide general nursing and support care to our impaired clientele.
The qualified CNA / NA must be enthusiastic, compassionate, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be committed to delivering the highest quality of care.

* This post is specifically for our client who resides in Kapolei in West Oahu.
* Schedule: Weekday, once per week @ 8 am - 3 pm
* Type of Care: PA1 and PA2

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
● Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to include: meal preparation and serving meals, ROM exercises, personal care, companionship and light chores.
●Personal Care to include: bathing / showering, shampoo & hair care, oral hygiene, dressing & grooming, skin care & shaving, medication reminder, assistance with nutrition & feeding, turning, repositioning and ambulation
● Light chores to include: Laundry & folding, change bed linens, meal preparation, vacuuming, sweeping & mopping and garbage disposal
● Assistance with grocery shopping & running errands
● Accompany client to doctor & specialist appointments
● Motivate clients to engage in social and recreational activities
● Assist with self-administered medications by reminding patients to take them at the prescribed time(s) and/or follow up to ensure they are taken properly
● Engage in mandatory in-service training education programs
● Comply with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information
● Abide by professional standards, follow policies and procedures as well as federal state and local requirements, and Joint Commission standards.
*QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS FOR THE JOB:*
● 6 months to 1 year of CNA | Nursing Assistant experience is highly preferred
● Valid Hawaii State approved CNA certification
● Valid Hawaii State approved Nurse Aide Certificate
● Must have reliable transportation
● If you're transporting a client you must have a valid State of Hawaii Drivers License
● Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy
● Ability to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
● High tolerance to work well under pressure and handle critical situations in a calm and professional demeanor
● Must be 18 years or older (Hawaii State Dept.
of Labor)
● Must be authorized to worth within the USA
● Must pass Fieldprint screening (background check)
● Must meet Hawaii State Requirements for CNA
