LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (PT)

We seek a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time schedule (12 hours shifts) to supervise the nursing services activities in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and Department of Health regulations.
In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON) the Licensed Nurse is responsible for the supervision of all nursing services activities including the supervision of direct care staff in an effort to provide a safe and pleasant environment for the residents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct daily kupuna visits to observe and conduct nursing assessments of kupuna physical and emotional status.
Facilitate and coordinate the ordering of medication.
Review Medication Administration Record for accurary and resident safety for the previous shift.
Document all treatment notes in medical records.
Ensure medical records and logs are current and in compliance with DOH regulations Communicate with kupuna providers and families as needed.
Supervise admissions and discharges of kupuna Supervise Nursing Staff in the performance of duties QUALIFICATIONS: Current Registered Nurse license Current TB/First Aid/CPR or BLS Immunization record ncluding COVID and influenza vaccination Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college Ability to read, write and speak English Three (3) years related experience and/or training in geriatric or long term care (preferred) Lunalilo Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants and especially with regard to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state, or locally protected class.
