Job Description:
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force-on-Force Training Systems-Next (FoFTS-Next) program will provide the training tools needed to prepare Marines for any contingency, anywhere.
Saab, Inc is looking for an experienced Operations Officer at Marine Corps Base Hawaii to support the FoFTS-Next program.
The Operations Officer leads the planning, liaison, and delivery for all Marine Corps Training Instrumentation System (MCTIS) exercise support on base and oversee the training delivery of steady state training and deploy for training activity that utilizes the MCTIS capability.
The Operations Officer reports to the Saab Site Lead and will act as the primary point of contact for the planning, preparation, and delivery of all MCTIS events conducted by training units at your respective base (MCAGCC, CPEN, CLNC, or MCBH).
The anticipated start date for this position is November 2023.

Responsibilities Include: Instruct the exercising units on the capabilities of the Saab equipment and coordinate with the training unit before and during deployment to ensure that they have everything necessary to utilize the full potential if MCTIS and receive the maximum training benefit.
Lead the Team Saab support teams throughout the exercises.
Manage the Contract Run Operations Warehouse (CROW) Team exercise support personnel.
Manages the Exercise budgets for all training related to their site.
Line manages all exercise support staff (System Analysts, Training Advisors, System Technicians and Field Service Representatives).
Acts as the USMC primary point of contact for all planning, preparation, and execution of support to all MCTIS training both on base and deploy for training activities using resources and assets to support Non-Home Station Installation Training.
Delivers a MCTIS MAGTF support brief to the Exercising Units in CONUS or OCONUS prior to deployment on an SLTE, as required.
Advises USMC staff and exercising troops on how to get the best from the system, is proactive in supporting all elements of the Master Events List.
Creates the Exercise Coordinating Instructions for all Team Saab Support staff which includes: Performance Evaluation Checklists (PECL); Saab task org; exercise Scheme of Maneuver (SoM); Sync Matrix & Master Events List; Setup, Equipping, Train, Fit and Receipt Plans; Exercise Manning & Support Plan, Comms Plan & Frequency Tables, Transport Plan, Contact Lists, Base Access, Accommodation, Feeding, Medical and Safety aspects of the exercise.
During the support of an MCCRE and SLTE, leads a Saab Support Team comprising MCTIS System Analysts, System Training Advisors, System Technicians, Field Service Representatives.
Works with the Lead MCTIS System Analyst to ensure the final AAR is built to Saab/USMC standard and ready for turnover to the customer on time at the completion of the exercise.
Produces a Post Exercise Report for each training event, Monthly MCTIS Training Utilization Report, and provides input to the mandated MCTIS reports.
Works with the Site Leads to develop a Saab Exercise Manning Document (EMD) detailing the personnel required to support the exercises that must be surged from other locations.
When required, identify personnel to surge to other locations in support of MCTIS exercises.
Ensures that all support delivery adheres to Federal, State, and Local Health & Safety requirements.
Ensure all personnel are properly trained for the roles which they are filling.
Schedule and conduct continuation training and education for the CROW staff at all the Camp.
Compensation Range: $104,300-133,000 The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
