DOE Health Technician (Castle High School)

POSITION SUMMARY Under minimal supervision, responsible for coordinated school health tasks including; coordinating school wide screenings with community partners, health and wellness promotion, data collection and disease surveillance, coverage of the health needs of students, data entry and health education as requested.
Will facilitate virtual and/or in person visits with a Hawaii Keiki (HK) Nurse Practitioner (APRN).
May cover school health rooms following Hawaii State Department of Education (DOE) protocol as requested and approved by HK supervisor and school administration.
Primary Location: Castle High School In addition, the position may cover the following schools: Ahuimanu Elementary School Castle High School Heeia Elementary School Kahaluu Elementary School Kaneohe Elementary School Kapunahala Elementary School King Intermediate School Parker Elementary School Puohala Elementary School Waiahole Elementary School Hauula Elementary School Kaaawa Elementary School Kahuku Elementary School Kahuku High & Intermediate School Laie Elementary School Sunset Beach Elementary School Hours per week: 32.
5 Pay rate: $20.
57 per hour Paid leave: Spring, fall and winter breaks according to the DOE calendar **This position is not scheduled to work during the summer break.
