Job Title: Medical Photography Professional -4293 Job Location: Oahu, Hawaii 96859, 96707, 96786 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual to fill the senior level Medical Photographer position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As a Medical Professional Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality medical images, including clinical procedures, surgeries, medical conditions, and diagnostic imaging.
Your role will play a crucial part in documenting patient cases, supporting medical education, and contributing to research initiatives.

Shafter Bldg #683, Schofield Barrack, HI 96786 Job Requirements: Skills / Experience Required Proven experience as a Medical Photographer Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment and software Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment Adherence to ethical standards and patient privacy regulations Capture high-resolution photographs of medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic imaging Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of patient cases for medical records and educational purposes Interact professionally with patients to explain the purpose of medical photography and ensure their comfort and consent Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate photography sessions during surgeries, treatments, and examinations Operate and maintain specialized medical photography equipment, such as medical cameras, lighting, and image processing tools Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and recommend equipment upgrades as needed Edit and enhance medical images using specialized software to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with established standards Organize and maintain an efficient image database for easy retrieval and reference Follow all relevant laws and regulations regarding patient privacy (HIPAA) and medical photography practices Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive medical information Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, and other medical staff, to capture images that contribute to patient care, medical research, and education Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in medical photography Provide input for the improvement of photography protocols and procedures Education / Certifications Certifications that may be needed/beneficial may include: SSCP or A+ CE or CCNA Security or Network+CE CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I Possess and maintain a valid Total Body Photography Certification from the Biocommunication's Association or similar certification from a medical industry recognized accreditation association Possess a combination of general industry photography certification and satisfactory academic medical anatomy or physiology coursework from an accredited school or adult learning program may be considered at the discretion of the government Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) PTO Tuition reimbursement Paid federal holidays Security Clearance Must be a U.

Citizen.
A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required.

Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen.
The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
