The Role Reporting to the Vice President of Health Safety Security Environmental (HSSE) and Process Safety, you will be provide regulatory compliance, technical expertise and support to Hawaii-based logistics operations.
As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will: • Be responsible for the regulatory compliance (including US EPA, USCG, OSHA, DOT, DHS and State of Hawaii) and work closely with external agencies.
• Serve as primary Facility Security Officer (FSO) for both Par Hawaii Refinery and associated logistics assets.
• Responsible for coordinating annual emergency response training, tabletop exercises and Par EH&S programs.
• Manage EH&S staff personnel to ensure compliance for logistics assets.
• Be responsible for the review and auditing of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
• Manages contractor qualification programs.
Maintains relationships with major contract providers to ensure compliance with all Par Hawaii safety and environmental programs (Hazcom, PPE, Job Safety Analysis, etc).
• Manages safety/health and loss prevention personnel and compliance programs for Logistics operations.

To be a good fit for the EHS Manager opportunity, you will have: Bachelor’s degree in safety administration or technical degree required or years of experience in the field in lieu of degree Minimum 8 years in regulatory compliance related environmental, health, safety and/or security Minimum 5 years of oil spill response planning including United States Coast Guard (USCG), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or State of Hawaii requirements.

Pay Range: $125,428 - $188,142 plus non-discretionary bonus Benefits: Full-time employees (and their families) are offered medical (with prescription coverage), dental, vision, voluntary critical illness, accident, life/AD&D insurance, Flexible Spending Account and Employee Assistance Program.
