Reporting to the Environmental Manager you will be providing service to our engineering teams.
As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will: Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports required by permit(s).
Understand and maintain compliance plans and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate sampling and testing, review and approve invoices, and assure recordkeeping.
Minimize environmental risk and costs to Refinery.
Be on-call and available to respond to unplanned events such as startups, shutdowns, or malfunctions.
Maintain relationships with federal, state and local agencies, including USEPA and HDOH.
Manages other environmental programs or special projects as assigned, including but not limited to: Participate in incident investigation and other safety programs.
Attending interdisciplinary meetings as Environmental Department Representative Providing field support (general environmental compliance oversight) during plant outages Perform other duties and special assignments as necessary.
