*ABOUT THE POSITION*

Your typical responsibilities will include customer service, visual merchandising, inventory tracking and loss prevention, setting goals for the team, managing the staff, creating and implementing meaningful projects & tasks, evaluating performance, solving and occasionally covering for schedule changes, managing IG content, and more! Candidates for this position will have experience in retail management.

*REPONSIBILITIES*
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Store Manager to organize and oversee the operations of one location.
Your typical responsibilities include:
* Regular communication with and direction from the Store Manager, the District Manager, the Owner, and the Chief Operations Officer
* Meeting regularly with the Assistant Store Manager, the District Manager, other Store Managers, and the Assistant Managers
* Coordinating staff meetings & events, community outreach, marketing campaigns, etc.
* Evaluating performance of staff, stores, and company overall
* Training up-and-coming assistant managers
* Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and operational guidelines
* Keeping employee training and operations manuals up to date
* Taking a grass roots approach to merchandising the sales floor, talking with customers, and preventing loss
* Implementing meaningful projects & tasks, both for in-reach and outreach
* Assist in all other aspects of the business as required
*EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS*
* Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (preferably at a boutique)
* Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
* Strong understanding of store optimization techniques
* Excellent team building and leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
