The Position: We're looking for an engaging and dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team.
This position is responsible for executing on OPH’s social media communication and marketing strategy to increase the visibility of OPH’s social content, while growing the company’s social following.
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for collecting, writing, creating, managing, and marketing content for social media accounts for various Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) entities across the State of Hawaii.
Other responsibilities include: Contributes, monitors, and responds to multiple social media platforms/accounts.
Creates, edits, and publishes shareable content appropriate for specific networks to grow the OPH brand.
Effectively manages the online social media presence of OPH and its various entities.
Manages OPH entity accounts for the following platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter (X), Google Business Manager, etc.
Collaborates with facility Administrators and Social Media Ambassadors at each OPH entity to collect photos, videos, and content for social media.
Conducts/captures interviews for content (i.
e.
resident or patient testimonials) Edits photos and videos to produce appealing content that aligns with the organization’s brand, image, and messaging.
Produces quality foods to support the health and well-being of our guests / residents Requirements: Bachelor’s in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, interactive communications or related field; or combination of education and experience Two (2) years of experience working in digital content marketing/development and community management.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum education requirements indicated above.
Experience with leveraging of social media management and analytics tools, including but not limited to Meltwater, Hootsuite, etc.
A minimum of one (1) year experience using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year experience using Canva preferred.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
Must be able to travel inter-island.
