Maintenance Service Technician (Entry Level)

We are looking for a Service Technician for our Oahu team.
Our group performs maintenance, repairs, consultation, and installation regarding all aspects of our various air to water systems.
All team members are expected to travel to the other islands to assist with projects as needed.
No nights or weekends.
We provide a company truck, gas card, cell phone and all tools.
This is an hourly position with competitive pay, paid health insurance for the employee (family plan available at a cost), nine paid holidays.
After a 3-month probationary period, you will begin earning vacation at 80 hours / year and are eligible to sign up for our matching 401k plan.
*JOB FUNCTIONS*
* Responsible for the maintenance and preventive maintenance of water systems.
* Determines operability of water systems components in accordance with established troubleshooting guidelines and procedure
* Completes water system maintenance forms entries and enters data into a Maintenance Data Systems, ensures entries are accurate and complete
* Services and inspects water systems and components.
* Ensure consistent, accurate water system maintenance by properly completing turnover entries on unfinished maintenance in the turnover log.
* Follow all Maintenance Department Policies and Procedures.
* Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
* Make recommendations to improve functions within the Maintenance Department.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or the Chief Technical Officer.
* Repairing and replacing faulty equipment to include UV lights and water filters
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* Troubleshooting skills and ability to read and interpret Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogs
* Basic knowledge of computer systems
* Analytical thinking skills
* Knowledge of engineering and technology
* Detailed, efficient and thorough
* Good verbal communication skills
* Responsiveness to internal and external customer issues
* Willingness to learn Basic mobile device operating knowledge
* Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
