*JOB SUMMARY:* The primary responsibility of this position is to have a clear understanding of mold cutting, wax, and casting workflow process.
The position will have continued focus on the manufacturing standards for improving the quality of our manufactured jewelry and efficiency of our factory processes.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Receive wax report from Coordinating and issue work to the respective technologies and balance staff to workload accordingly.
Perform consistent observation to best practices and techniques used by each person in your areas of responsibility.
Conduct constant corrective training when best practices are not used.
Maintain mold library ensuring all molds are new, pliable and cut in the best, most production friendly way.
Produce molds and train in mold cutting to create a cohesive mold cutting team.
Review casting repairs and report all repeated issues to Management Perform scheduled maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* Special projects will be assigned as needed.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:* Hand eye dexterity, attendtion to detail, steady hands, vision.
Stand for long periods Higher than normal heat environment *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/jewelry related industry preferred.
Speciality in wax, casting, and mold preferred.
