Maintenance Attendant

Maintenance Person Duties: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or staff in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed.
Requirements: - Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with tenants and address their concerns.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others if necessary.
- Proficiency in using a CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Basic carpentry skills for fabricating or modifying parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
- Leadership qualities to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
